KEEP REACHING - Even when life feels frozen

ree

When I photographed this squirrel, I was fascinated - even in the cold, it wasn’t giving up, it was still busy searching.

Sometimes life feels frozen. Staying still can feel safer.

But fear and misery can quietly become our new identity, and if we let them, they can even stop us from reaching out.

Have you ever asked: “Why me?”

Try asking: “What now?”

That’s not easy, especially when life delivers news you never wanted to hear.

My uncle once faced that moment. After being told his time was short, he decided to send cards to all the special people in his life, telling them how they had changed his for the better.

What a gift for them, and for him. I immediately phoned him in England and told him what his kindness and caring had meant to me too. We connected.

Maybe this isn’t the end.

Maybe it’s your turning point.

KEEP REACHING. Even in the cold.

Because that stretch - that moment you decide to keep going - will be your legacy.
